Trade and Cooperation Agreement between the UK and the EU

On 24 December 2020, Agreement was reached between the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the European Union. Through the Trade and Cooperation Agreement the UK and the EU have agreed to unprecedented 100% tariff liberalisation.

Please find the full Agreement here and a summary explainer here. Although this Agreement ensures the continued flow of goods without tariffs or quotas there will, nevertheless, be changes to how businesses in the EU trade with the UK and vice versa. Please see the updated guidance published here regarding the trade with the UK from 1 January 2021 as a business based in the EU.
