Secondary Focus Fair 2019

 

Every year hundreds of students and  their parents choose to study abroad in private schools, international colleges, preparatory education centres and language schools.

Baltic Council for International Education offers a unique opportunity to meet face to face with the representatives of world famous schools and education institutions who are ready to give out detailed information about studying in Europe, USA, Canada and other countries.

On 30th November, Baltic Council for International Education will organise an exclusive fair focusing on international private boarding schools and language camps. During this event parents will be able to get answers to their questions as well as make the right choice for their children.
 
The fair will feature:
- Primary and secondary schools for students aged 12-18;
- International colleges;
- International preparation centres;
- Language schools and camps offering preparatory study programmes for schools, colleges including summer language courses;
- Entrance tests for private schools, UKiset, Bussats and international English Language tests such as IELTS, Cambridge English and others.

During the Secondary Focus Fair attendees will have  possibility to hear Ben Hanneford-Smith, EtonX Head of Business Development who will give a talk called: “More than just good grades: Critical Thinking and key skills for university and life”. The presentation will take place at 13:00.
 

EtonX is a London-based learning innovator and subsidiary of the world-famous Eton College, which is now offering its Future Skills Programme of online soft skills courses to students in the Baltic States. The programme courses cover essential competencies that are increasing seen by educators and employers as vital to teenagers making the transition from school to university studies and includes courses in Creative Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Research Skills, Public Speaking, Resilience, Entrepreneurship, Making An Impact, Verbal Communication, Writing Skills, Interview Skills and CV Writing. Further details of EtonX’s Future Skills Programme can be found here.
