Joint Chamber Business Breakfast with Edvards Smiltēns, Speaker of the Saeima

On 2 December at Radisson Blu Rīdzene Hotel members and friends of British and Irish Chambers of Commerce in Latvia gathered to meet with Edvards Smiltēns, Speaker of the Saeima to discuss topics important to investors and other issues in Latvia and worldwide.
Mr Smiltēns discussed the forming of the new parliament and government, as well as their agenda, development of business and investment sector in Latvia, the necessary reforms in health care sector and the current global situation regarding the consequences of Russian aggression. At the Business Breakfast a significant amount of time was dedicated for questions from the attendees, which the participants actively made use of.
